Overview

We'll begin the adventure with hotel pickup in Cusco. Once the entire group is assembled, we'll embark on a 50-minute tour by tourist transport to the town of Cruz Pata. There, we'll have the opportunity to practice riding ATVs for 15 to 20 minutes.

Once ready for the unique journey, we'll begin the ATV tour to the experimental terraces of Moray, where our guide will explain the importance of this archaeological site. After visiting Moray, we'll return to the base to board the tourist transport and head to the Maras Salt Mines, an incredibly beautiful place where salt is produced by hand.

During this tour, we'll enjoy magnificent views of the Verónica and Chicón snow-capped mountains, accompanied by a magical landscape in close contact with nature. At the salt mines, the guide will explain the natural process of salt production. At the end of the tour, we'll return to Cusco.

Itinerary

We'll begin this exciting adventure by picking up participants from their respective hotels in Cusco at a prearranged time. Once the group is assembled, we'll board our private tour bus to the town of Cruz Pata , located approximately 50 minutes from the city. Upon arrival at the base of operations, our passengers will receive an induction session and practice driving four-wheelers (ATVs) .

They will have 15 to 20 minutes to familiarize themselves with the equipment and receive safety instructions from a professional instructor. Once ready, we'll begin the ATV tour to the Moray Archaeological Center , a unique site that functioned as an Inca agricultural laboratory thanks to its circular terraces, where different microclimates were experienced.

Our certified guide will provide a detailed explanation of its function and significance within the Inca Empire. After exploring Moray, we'll return to the base to transfer back to the tour bus.

From there, we'll head to the stunning Maras Salt Mines , where thousands of salt wells have been exploited by hand since pre-Inca times. This location offers unparalleled photography, surrounded by towering mountains like the Verónica and Chicón peaks .

Our guide will explain the ancient process of salt extraction , as well as the history of the communities that still work here. Finally, after a tour filled with culture, nature, and adventure, we will return to Cusco, concluding this unforgettable experience.
